Book Me
A scheduling app that lets people book time with a host. Availability comes from the host’s Google Calendar, and booking confirmations are sent from the host’s Gmail account.

What Book Me does
Book Me is built for one-to-one scheduling between a host and guests. You do not need an account to request a meeting.
- Guests visit the public booking page, choose an open time slot, and submit their name, email, and meeting topic. They receive confirmation details and links to add the event to a calendar or cancel or reschedule when allowed.
- Hosts sign in with Google to open a private dashboard. There they set weekly availability, booking duration and buffers, time zone, public booking page text, and email templates.
- When a guest books, Book Me creates or updates a calendar event on the host’s Google Calendar (when configured) and sends transactional email about the booking using the host’s connected Gmail account.
- Hosts can view upcoming bookings, cancel or reschedule them, and manage settings. Past booking records may be removed automatically after meetings end, as described in our privacy policy.
How to use it
- Book a time — open the public booking page and pick a slot. No sign-in required.
- Host sign in — authorized hosts use Google sign-in to access the dashboard and connect calendar and Gmail for scheduling features.
Why we request user data
Book Me collects only what is needed to run scheduling. We are transparent about what each type of user provides and why.
Guest bookings
When you book a meeting, we ask for your name, email address, and meeting topic so the host knows who is coming and can contact you. We store the chosen time and internal tokens used for cancel or reschedule links. We do not ask guests to sign in with Google.
Host sign-in with Google
Hosts sign in with Google. We receive basic profile information (name, email, and profile image) to identify your account and keep you signed in. We also store OAuth tokens so the app can use Google services on your behalf, only for hosts who have been authorized to use the dashboard.
Google permissions requested for hosts:
- Profile & email — to sign you in and show who is signed in
- Google Calendar (read and create/update events) — to read busy times when showing availability and to create or update calendar events for confirmed bookings
- Gmail send — to send booking-related email (confirmations and change notices) from your connected Gmail account
We use these permissions only to provide scheduling features described on this page. We do not sell personal information. You can revoke Book Me’s access in your Google Account settings.
Privacy policy
Our privacy policy explains in detail what we collect, how we use it, how long we keep it, and your rights. It is available without signing in.
